At the time you’ve chosen, Laterhood sends your secure check-in link. Free and Premium notifications are sent by email; Connect members can also choose SMS or WhatsApp.

If everything's OK, simply tap the link. Your check-in is complete - there's nothing else to do.

If you don't check in, Laterhood follows the rules and timings you've chosen. Your Trusted Person can then be alerted.

Being your Trusted Person doesn’t give someone automatic access to everything in your Laterhood Plan.

You decide what information you share and who you share it with. Being nominated as a Trusted Person doesn’t automatically give someone access to your Laterhood Plan.

Your Laterhood Plan is yours. You decide which information, if any, a Trusted Person can see.

A missed check-in alert only tells your Trusted Person that you haven’t responded. What they can see in your Laterhood Plan depends on the access you have chosen for them.

You remain in control. You can change your Trusted Person and review what they can access as your circumstances change.

You choose how long Laterhood should wait after a missed check-in before your Trusted Person is alerted.

So if you're busy, away from your phone or simply forget, you still have time to respond.

Laterhood only sends the alert when the response time you chose has passed.
